500th resident moves in to East Village 500th Resident Welcomed to East Village

Get Living London is proud to welcome its 500th resident, Ian McGuinness, 41, and his partner to East Village. McGuinness, an Office Services Director was struck by the variety and quality of the facilities available to residents in the area, one of the many positives of living in London’s first legacy neighborhood. As well as the large amounts of green space and unparalleled transport connections, Ian was particularly taken with the leisure facilities in the local area; the proximity to Westfield Stratford City and the Queen Elizabeth Park, which are less than five minutes’ walk from his new home. Surrounded by 10 hectares of land, the homes are expertly furnished and fitted with broadband connections, as well as offering discount of Sky entertainment packages.

Ian commented “I feel privileged to be the 500th Get Living London resident at East Village and was really excited when I first received the email from Get Living London.” Since the first residents began to move in in November 2013, the former Athlete’s Village has been transformed into a thriving, vibrant community receiving an award for ‘Development of the Year’ at the RESI Awards, whilst Get Living London’s received ‘Property Newcomer of the Year’ in an evening of celebrations.
