Get Living London has teamed up with The Nomad Cinema to offer, for the very first time, free outdoor screenings in East Village.
This August London’s favourite pop-up outdoor cinema experts, The Nomad Cinema, has taken over Victory Park in the former Athletes’ Village for four screenings of some of our best loved movies.
Audiences have already enjoyed the classic Thelma & Louise and the quirky Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind in the cauldron-like ampitheatre of Victory Park, and the kid friendly Paddington and 80s thriller The Lost Boys are still to come.
Schedule of films –
Thursday 6th August – Thelma & Louise
Friday 7th August – Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Friday 14th August – The Lost Boys
Sunday 16th August – Paddington
On arrival at Victory Park each guest will be able to sit back and relax on bean bags, tuning into the film via wireless headsets. The Nomad pop-up cinema screenings are part of Get Living London’s programme of FREE summer events as it transforms East Village E20 into the perfect summertime destination.
Although the Nomd Cinema ballot for tickets has closed, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org to be on a priority waiting list for the event, and we do our best to get everyone in on the day. Please keep a close eye here and on our twitter and facebook channels for further updates in the run up to the event, and join in the conversation using #E20Flicks.
