Fire Safety In Your Home
Fire safety is an important aspect of our everyday life.
Your home and the building as a whole meets or exceeds all current fire regulations. There is an automatic sprinkler system in each home and in the communal areas to extinguish fires. There are also fire alarms and a detailed evacuation procedure.

Smoke Detectors
- The smoke detectors fitted inside your home are mains powered with a battery back-up to ensure continued use in the event of a power failure.
- You should check this on a frequent basis and ensure that the backup batteries are changed regularly.

Fire Safety In Building Common Areas
If you witness a fire in a common area, you should evacuate the building immediately via the nearest available fire exit. Exit by the stairs and do not use the lifts.
Calling The Fire Brigade
To prevent the spread of fire and to save lives, upon identifying a fire and once you are in a place of safety, you should call 999 and ask for the Fire Brigade. Alert the Elephant Central security control room by calling 07702 569217 as soon as possible.
