What’s at Portlands Place
Portlands Place is packed full of creative spaces and facilities that are an extension of your home. The Skybridge on Floor 10 connects the two towers of Portlands Place and is filled with greenery and things to do.
Two Roof Terraces
Each tower of Portlands Place has a garden roof terrace for you to take in the sweeping views of the City.
Come Dine With Us Kitchen
The Come Dine With Us Kitchen seats 23 people and boasts a modern kitchen and chef’s table set up. It’s the perfect place for you to host your friends and family, enjoy a group resident meal or attend one of our cooking workshops. Utensils and crockery are available from the concierge team.
Creative Coworking Spaces
We have lots of little coworking nooks for you to get cosy and creative in. Get your head down along the Skybridge or coworking on the ground floor lobby of Hightail. We also have a small private room, ‘The Chatterbox’ for those one-on-one Zoom calls!
Wellness & Health Facilities
The Skybridge offers a wellness facilities that are free to residents. They’re open between 6am – 11pm and include our resident-only gym which comes equipped with a spinning room and gym instructor, and a wellness studio for those moments of tranquillity in the downward dog.
To take advantage of the on-site gym located in the Skybridge, book your free induction session with the Antidote team.
Use the Antidote platform to see all class timetables, manage your bookings and book in your complimentary 1-on-1 taster session with a Personal Trainer.
Screening Room
Residents are welcome to use the screening room which has comfy sofas and a big screen. You can book it out for private use too!
Groups & Events
Get connected to your neighbourhood by joining our resident clubs and groups – there’s something for everyone!
From workout classes, cycling club to weekly football, stay active in the regular groups supported by Get Living. They’re the perfect way to find your place in our community. Look out for bigger events too like our summer fete for even more fun!

Parking
There are a limited number of secure residents’ parking spaces available at East Village. Please refer to your Resident Host for further details.
At Portlands Place, we can only offer parking to mobility blue badge holders. We may be able to offer residents who are not badge holders parking in a nearby plot subject to availability.
Permits are issued with a specific numbered parking bay. You must display the permit on your windscreen whenever you use the car park to avoid getting a fine.
Parking InfoPublic Transport
East Village is in easy reach of Stratford and Stratford International Station which are in Zone 2/3.
The area has excellent transport links into Central London by National Rail, DLR, and TfL Underground.
More travel infoBicycle Storage
There is a large bicycle storage area in the basement – enough for 800 bikes!
It is up to you to:
- Provide your own locking device to secure your bike to the racks
- Arrange bicycle insurance
Please do not take your bike into:
- Your home, including the balcony, patio or terrace
- Any of the building’s common areas including entrance lobbies and lifts
Shops, Cafés, Bars & Restaurants
You’ll find some brilliant local shops and places to eat and drink at East Village – most are small independent businesses!

Local East Village Services
We have our own school and health centre here in East Village, both are easy walking distance of Portlands Place.
- Harris Academy, Cheering Lane (School-age 3-18)
- The Sir Ludwig Guttmann Health and Wellbeing Centre, Liberty Bridge Road offers a range of other services including physiotherapy, maternity care and some surgery. Register with your local GP.
- Salus Pharmacy is next door to the Sir Ludwig Guttmann Health and Wellbeing Centre
- East Village Dental in Mirabelle Gardens accepts NHS and private patients.
You’ll also find barbers, hairdressers, beauty salons and a growing range of other services.
