The Lab E20

Creative Hub - Coming This Summer

Opening on Thursday 29 July The Lab E20, located in East Village, is a space for culture, community and experimentation with a focus on positive fashion, climate action and the circular economy. The creative hub has been designed and produced by Christopher Raeburn, founder of RÆBURN and Global Creative Director of Timberland. The Lab E20 will follow a six-month programme of events and experiences with various cultural partners, titled PREVIEW.

Free activities over the summer will include:

  • Parachute tote bag making and kids custom T-shirt workshops with RÆBURN, book your space.
  • Daily screenings (12pm – 6pm) of WaterBear films in the cinema room. No booking required.
  • An architecture summer school run by D-Lab where students will design habitats on Mars as well as jewellery making, clothing repair and restore sessions, as well as a series of documentary film screenings and engaging talks. Events will be open to all but must be booked in advance.

Programme partners delivering experiences and events at The Lab E20 include: the British Fashion Council’s Institute of Positive Fashion; award-winning pioneer of responsible fashion design RÆBURN; architectural and sustainable design practice D-Lab; Loanhood, an East London start-up fashion rental platform; The Sustainable Angle, the UK’s leading resource for sourcing sustainable materials, and global activist and maker platform Fashion Open Studio (Fashion Revolution).
