Located at 3-4 East Park Walk, The Lab E20 is East Village’s new flagship for experiential retail, cultural exhibition and creative workspace, with a focus on positive fashion and sustainable living.
Designed by Christopher Raeburn, founder of RÆBURN, the 3,500sq ft and double-heighted space in Stratford plays host to events and experiences with various cultural partners for residents and wider community.
New for 2023, ‘Regenerative by Design’ is a cultural programme produced by RAEBURN and supported by Get Living celebrating London’s cultural innovation across Climate Action, Low Carbon Living and the Circular Economy.

THE FUTURE OF FASHION: IMAGINING POSSIBILITES
The Lab E20’s latest exhibition The Future of Fashion: Imagining Possibilities has been curated by RÆBURN in partnership with the Centre for Sustainable Fashion, London College of Fashion, UAL to document the local and global impact of regenerative design – from the garments we wear, to the ways in which we shape our cities and our communities. This rolling exhibition (October 2023 to October 2024) is open to the public.

ROPEMAKING WORKSHOP WITH SANNE VISSER
Learn the fascinating craft of ropemaking using textile waste and sustainable yarns with designer Sanne Visser. You will explore traditional crafts and material innovations, to design and make your own decorative and practical ropes. Age: 16+ (children can attend when accompanied with an adult). This event is part of this year’s London Craft Week.
Tickets are £55 per person, available via Sanne Visser. Discounted rate (£45pp) available for locals, students and people with lower income/unemployment, email the designer for more details.

THE LAB E20 ARTIST IN RESIDENCE WORKSHOP: KATY MASON STUDIO
This is a free workshop that involves collecting, deconstructing, making and wearing objects; shifting ways of judging materials and their value. An opportunity to intuitively create messy, chaotic, delicate and intricate works that can visually articulate our inner wild. Bring your own interesting waste objects/materials/rubbish and/or those that will be provided during the workshop; this is a chance to creatively meditate on trash and its endless possibilities for creating and wearing. A monthly process art club for kids, inspired by nature and sustainably.
