Take part in East Village’s lockdown Easter Egg (window) hunt!

April 8, 2020

This weekend, East Village E20 is launching its first ever Easter Egg Window Hunt so that residents can enjoy all the fun of an egg hunt while staying safe and obeying the rules of the ongoing coronavirus lockdown.

Residents and retailers of the East London neighbourhood are being encouraged to get creative and decorate their windows, balconies and storefronts with colourful Easter eggs, so that despite the strict social distancing and self-isolation rules in place this holiday, the community can still celebrate together.

To help, we’ve created some handy Easter Egg templates to here.

Residents and visitors are reminded to walk around the neighbourhood in a mindful way, keeping a 2m distance from others at all times, and by making the egg-hunting your one hour daily outdoor exercise.

Share images of your designs and the eggs that you spot by tagging us on Instagram at @eastvillageldn and Twitter at @EastVillageLDN using #E20EggHunt.
