East Village’s Pavé Velo to host Flying 500 Challenge

Get Living London is thrilled to be sponsoring and participating in 6 Day London for the second consecutive year at The Lee Valley Velopark on Queen Elizabeth Park from 24-29 October 2017.

One of our retailers, on our East Village site, Pavé Velo, is inviting guests to take part in a very special Flying 500 Challenge to celebrate the arrival of the Six Day London cycling event at the Lee Valley VeloPark this week.

Keen cyclists can visit the independent bike store on Friday 27th or Saturday 28th October to take part in the challenge, which is equivalent to cycling two entire laps of the Lee Valley Velodrome itself.Guests are invited to jump on a training bike to see how quickly you can complete the challenge, with the fastest riders in each category (men, women or under 18) winning a pair of tickets to the Get Living London sponsored Six Day Cycling event on Saturday 28th October.

Guests on Saturday 28th October are in for an extra special treat, as the event will be attended by Olympic British Cyclist, Steven Burke, who won bronze in Beijing in 2008 and then gold in the team pursuit at London 2012 and Rio 2016. Steven will be taking part in the challenge and will host a limited, ticketed Q&A session in the afternoon.
