Get Living to host Cheese and Wine festival

April 6, 2017

Last year Get Living London put on a chocolate festival, but in 2017 we’re going one better and putting on a FREE cheese and wine festival.

The free non-ticketed event will take place in the former Athletes’ Village, East Village London E20, on Saturday April 1 from 12-6pm and Sunday April 2 from 11am-4pm.

The village will be transformed into a homage to fromage, with over 25 independent retailers descending on Victory Park to hawk their cheesy, winey, wares from around the world.

As well as cheese and wine visitors will be able to indulge in chocolates, breads, ciders at chutneys over the weekend, for which the independent East Village retailers will also be involved, along with a selection of workshops and talks taking place throughout both days. These will include workshops from Great British Bake Off’s Tom Gilliford, and wine expert Tim Aitkin.
