24 October 2022 – Get Living, the UK’s leading build-to-rent owner operator and developer of large-scale residential neighbourhoods, has been awarded a 5-star rating for its operational neighbourhoods and a 4-star rating for its development portfolio by GRESB, the global ESG benchmark.
GRESB is a mission-driven and industry-led organization that assesses and benchmarks ESG performance of real estate assets, providing standardized and validated data to the capital markets. GRESB assessments are guided by what investors and the industry consider to be material issues in the sustainability performance of real estate asset investments and are aligned with international reporting frameworks, goals and emerging regulations. A 5-star award is the highest rating and represents recognition for being an industry leader.
The GRESB accreditation is an important element of Get Living’s ESG strategy as it continues to embed sustainability across the business. This involves supporting local employment and local suppliers and becoming civic family members of the communities in which it operates, while pursuing a green and sustainable agenda.
