  • Over 500 homes now available to rent, prices starting from £1,855 a month

Award-winning rental operator Get Living has launched Portlands Place, a new collection of 524 fully furnished studio, one, two, three and four bedroom homes available to rent in popular East Village in Stratford.

Set across two residential towers – ‘Hightail Point’ at 30 floors and ‘Skylark Point’ at 25 floors – the striking buildings, designed by internationally-renowned architectural practice Hawkins\Brown, are adjoined with a stunning and unique Skybridge located on the 10th floor. Setting a new benchmark for rental living, the Skybridge gives each resident exclusive access to 7,836 sq ft of indoor state-of-the-art amenity spaces and 10,473 sq ft of outdoor private roof terraces. Both homes and shared spaces offer unparalleled views across the former London 2012 Athletes’ Village, East London and beyond.

Amenities at Portlands Place

Launching in the year which marks 10 years since the legacy of the London 2012 Olympics, Portlands Place takes residents’ health and wellbeing to new heights – physically, socially and mentally. Tailored wellness spaces comprise a yoga studio, a Technogym equipped fitness suite and spin studio. The wellness spaces are free to use at any time and will also be programmed by luxury wellness platform, Antidote. Residents will have access to six complimentary trainer-led classes per week, and an introductory personal training session.

A fully equipped ‘Come Dine With Us’ open plan kitchen and beautiful dining room, serving panoramic views for up to 20 people, is also available to hire via the resident app which helps cater to resident everyday needs and connects the community of Get Living residents. Additional spaces and amenities include a built-in wine dispenser, with wines curated by E20’s Darkhorse restaurant, a screening room and lounge, dedicated resident hosts and a varied section of individual and social spaces comprising lounge pockets, phone booths and high-tables, accommodating those working remotely.

Connecting these impressive spaces, the 23 metre-long Skybridge boasts floor-to-ceiling and double heighted (5.2 metre) glass-covered walkway. Flooded with natural light and filled with foliage, the Skybridge maximises indoor and outdoor living spaces, providing a truly unique place for working and relaxing in the heart of East London’s innovation district.

Homes on another level

These spacious and open-plan apartments come fully-furnished with three interior styles to choose from, including high-spec Grundig kitchen appliances. Meeting the demands of modern living, each furniture package supports the flexibility of hybrid working with individual desk spaces, whilst advanced sustainable technology, such as a ‘master light switch’ – is uniquely integrated to manage and reduce each apartments lighting waste. Homes further enjoy either their own enclosed or Juliette balcony.

Commenting on the launch of Portlands Place, Jackie Robinson Director of East Village says: “In a momentous summer for Stratford – marking ten years of Olympic legacy – we’re looking forward to opening the doors to Portlands Place, our highly-anticipated addition to East Village. It is a completely unique development for East London. The Skybridge is not only an engineering feat but it is also a first for Get Living in offering premium and unparalleled sky-high amenities, taking renting with us to another level.

“For residents empowered to work-from-wherever, in addition to providing home office furniture, we’ve curated spaces where people can roam and feel inspired while still having that sense of community and opportunity to connect with others – whether that be at a lunchtime fitness class or over an after-work glass of wine with neighbours and friends.”

In the heart of East London’s innovation district

Located on the corner of Anthems Way and Olympic Park Avenue in Stratford, Portlands Place is in prime position to take advantage of East Village’s established cluster of 30 restaurants, cafes and retail spaces, as well as being on the doorstep of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and emerging East Bank.

From 2023, global cultural brands of the BBC, Sadler’s Wells and the V&A will join world-renowned universities University College London (UCL) and University of Arts London (UAL) College of Fashion to create a centre for innovation and ambition in East London.

Located in Zone 2/3 and access to Stratford and Stratford International stations, East Village has London at its fingertips with the addition of the Elizabeth Line route making journeys across the capital slicker and quicker. From autumn 2022, travellers from Stratford station can hop on direct trains to Whitechapel (4mins), Tottenham Court Road (12mins), Bond Street (14mins), Paddington (18mins) and from spring 2023, Heathrow (48mins).
