REGENERATIVE BY DESIGN: CRAFT. COMMUNITY. CULTURE – HURRICANE MELISSA RELIEF FUNDRAISER

Newham is home to a vibrant Caribbean community and members of the Jamaican Diaspora. Our event on 8 November is in aid of the Hurricane Melissa Relief Fund by Food For The Poor (Jamaica), a hugely impactful Jamaican based charity providing emergency support and relief to those in need.

In collaboration with Kind At Heart CIC, the Crafts Council and Daniel Heath Studio, we will be hosting a craft & wellbeing charity fundraiser with FREE family friendly activities including screen printing, games (dominoes and chess) music and food provided throughout the day.

Donations made will go towards:
1. Emergency supplies such as food, clean water & medical kits
2. Temporary housing for families who have lost their homes
3. Contribute to the long-term recovery by supporting the reconstruction of homes & community infrastructure
4. Access to healthcare for those injured or at risk due to the hurricane

If you are unable to attend but still wish to donate, you can visit the Food For The Poor (Jamaica) website.

Thank you in advance from The Lab E20 for your continued support.
