In August. Get Living partnered with The Nomad Cinema to put on four free film screenings in East Village London.
Victory Park has played host to four outdoor film screenings, with filmgoers enjoying a Thelma & Louise, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Lost Boys and Paddington, with everyone tuning in via wireless ehadsets.
The basin like shape of the Victory Park corner proved to be a perfect alfresco ampitheatre as residents and visitors to E20 enjoyed sprawling out on giant beanbags, while indulging in wines and beers from Bottle Apostle, as well as a range of pop up food stands including Shrimpy and Athenia.
The Nomad pop-up cinema screenings were part of Get Living London’s programme of free summer events and followed on from the Tapas, Beer & Cider Festival in June and the Wimbledon-themed E20 Fair in July.
