The much anticipated opening of Tina, We Salute You in East Village is upon us.
Dalston’s coolest cafe opened on Tuesday 1 September in the former Athletes’ Village with cocktails on hand to help those grappling with post bank holiday blues.
The first two weeks will be bar only, with opening hours being 5pm-11.30pm, with drinks including a wine list, a range of beers and a multitude of classic cocktails. For the two weeks after that they will be open all day with a reduced food menu, and then they will kick off in earnest with a full breakfast and lunch menu which will include the likes of French toast, Eggs Benedict, sourdough and American style pancakes.
In the evenings it will become a bar again, with street food vans parked outside to keep both glasses and plates full! Tina, We Salute You is just the latest independent retailer to join East Village and follows hot on the footsteps of Signorelli which opened in mid August.
