Make Your Own Biotextile From Waste

Explore materials and make your own biotextiles from waste!

Join us for an evening exploring how to transform food waste like egg shells, orange peels and plants like seaweed and potato starch into sustainable textile samples. You will be able to cook up your own recipes of innovative materials and create new sustainable textiles that are biodegradable. During this workshop, you will:

  • Learn what waste streams and plants can be transformed into materials.
  • Cook up your own recipes
  • Make your own innovative textile samples

This workshop is part of the ‘What’s in My Home?’ programme running at The Lab E20 in East Village. All materials are provided and all abilities and ages are welcome. Young children must be accompanied by an adult.

Book your place on the Biotextile Workshop below for £10 per person.
