Regenerative By Design: Culture & Place

‘Abundance’ Film Screening in The Lab E20 hosted by ARUP x RÆBURN

‘Abundance’ is a short design fiction film set in a near-future London. It follows a day in the life of a regenerative designer, as she interacts with the communities, technologies and systems that represent what a regenerative future London might look like. Set around the year 2060, this short design fiction film pulls together ideas, props, VFX, cinematic filmmaking and design, to build a glimpse into a world in which regenerative practice is the norm, culturally, socially and within the build environment industry.

The film is a call to action for those working in design, to educate themselves further on the concept of regenerative design. It aims to inspire and empower built environment practitioners to deliver net-positive outcomes that contribute positively towards planetary health.
