Summer is on its way to East Village and is bringing a taste of Spain!

Get Living London has worked with its partners to bring a Tapas, Beer & Cider festival to E20 as the first of several fun-filled events for everyone in East Village to enjoy.

On Saturday 13 June, the summer programme kicks off with a Tapas, Beer & Cider Festival which will see a party atmosphere take over Victory Park from noon to 8.30pm. Whatever the weather (we hope sunny!), visitors will be warmed by the Mediterranean ambience and aromas emanating from a fantastic range of Spanish food, drink and music.

Highlights are set to include Street Kitchen’s authentic tapas and for those with a sweet tooth, the indulgence of Churros Garcia will be on hand. Wine tasting hosted by Tastour will showcase the richness of the Spanish vineyards, and there will be a host of beers and ciders to enjoy as the East Village community comes together to enjoy the first of a series of summer events.

FREE tickets for the Tapas event are available now and include one free tapas, churros and drink.

Later this summer Get Living London will also be bringing you a Wimbledon-themed East Village E20 Fair on 12 July, with everyone able to cheer on Andy Murray in front of a big screen. This will be followed by the East Village Summer Film Festival in early August run by Nomad. All screenings will be shown on a special inflatable screen, while the films will be “silent”, with audiences wearing headphones.

So this summer, jump on one of the many transport routes to Stratford and join the festival atmosphere in East Village E20! Keep an eye on the Get Living London and East Village websites for more details to come!
