Find out moreTed and Kath Dawson are the owners of Ted’s Veg and their families have been farming in Lincolnshire for over four generations. When it comes to fruit and veg they know their Maris Pipers from their King Edwards and have a knowledge of fruit and veg that runs as deep as the root of their carrots.
Ted’s Veg began in 1999 by supplying produce to wholesale markets across the country, and has since transformed into a much-loved neighbourhood green grocer with twenty-three stalls across London, including one at Borough Market which is open six days a week. The produce is grown on the family farm in Boston, Lincolnshire and picked fresh every day.
With decades of farming expertise and a commitment to chemical free crops, customers can trust they are getting the best fruit and vegetables around. Ted’s Veg also proudly participates in Planzhero’s* plight to eradicate food waste, and through this organisation provides many local charities with hundreds of kilos of edible but non-sellable fruit and vegetables.
