7 Questions with Seven Bro7hers

July 14, 2022

Join us down the local, and get to know (one of) Seven Brothers

We’ve always been big fans of Salford-based brewers Seven Bro7hers who opened their second ever beerhouse at New Maker Yards’ back in 2020. After making it through one of the toughest years for hospitality, they’ve since opened two more locations in Manchester as well as Halifax and Liverpool, have grown their team to 100 people and a booming online business.

So, what’s the family secret?

If you didn’t already know, the team behind the Seven Bro7hers brand are actually seven brothers who love their beer! Learning the art of home-brewing (and tasting) from their Dad while growing up, the banded together and launched the business in 2014.

In the family there are also four sisters who make gin.

So 11 siblings in total, all producing homemade booze – you can imagine the family gatherings!

To learn a bit more about the business, the beer, and the family we sat down with Kit (a.k.a brother number six).

Seven Questions with One of the Seven Brothers

Coming up at Seven Brothers Middlewood Locks

Every fortnight at the Middlewood Locks Beer House you can join a fun pub quiz, and try out the latest limited edition beer called Midnight Drive, which is a session East Coast IPA. Nice, crisp clear, hoppy beer, expert Kit confirms.

This summer, the beerhouse will be the backdrop for amazing Get Living social events such as the Matt and Phreds jazz night in July and Drag Show Extraganaza in August. Our events as a way for the community and the residents to come together, meet their neighbours and get to know each other.

Plus, all the pawrents are invited to join the New Maker Yards Dog Club which meets every second Sunday at Seven Bro7hers.

What’s there to say other than, see you down the local!
