As Fashion Week marches out of London town, in the sparkling after-math of the Met, VMAs and the Emmys, we’re all talking about FASHION. And boy have we got a weekend lined up for you.
Here at Get Living we are conscious consumers, pro-positive fashion, positive change and learning about best practise initiatives for the future of our wardrobes and our planet.
To herald and celebrate fashion, sustainability and innovation we’re delighted to be a part of the Fashion District Festival running right here in London’s new creative district – Stratford – until the 26 September.
The fashion-fest brings together people, businesses, spaces and ideas to shine a light on the fashion talent and initiatives happening right here under our noses.
What to expect? Residents, shoppers, business start-ups, global and local talent shopping-wise, learning lots, networking. Feast your eyes on pop-up stores and a vintage market, get immersed in styling sessions, hands-on workshops, new-tech, events and installations – and all in a perfect tottering distance from eachother.
Shop: The best new sustainable brands and pre-loved fashion at Westfield Stratford.
Watch: Showcases and styling events at D&D’s Haugen in the newly-built Pavilion.
